this takes some explanation.

i got the idea for a scene like this—dean speaking to the absent cas just after sam leaves him—last night and it kept me up for hours. i thought about writing it down and then podficcing it, but that would have taken away the emotion, in my opinion, so i just sat down this afternoon and winged it. extremely pleased with how it came out.

that’s not fake crying, by the way. i legitimately had tears streaming down my face. i was violently emotional by the end of this.

i don’t know what that says about whom.
